The Perch Inn Wedding Photography

In September I was in Oxford to shoot a fabulous Perch Inn Wedding with the lovely Anna and Dom. The Perch is a beautiful little pub that sits on the river at Port Meadow and is becoming a popular wedding venue. I normally just travel between venues with all my gear, but I decided to pop the essentials in a small bag and travel light. The morning of the wedding I took a cab to the The Spires Hotel in Oxford city where Anna and her bridesmaids were getting ready.  They had chosen a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the River Thames. Anna had chosen to have her hair and makeup done offsite and had just arrived back. I spent an hour or so capturing the atmosphere and a few details before jumping in a taxi with the bridesmaids and heading to Oxford’s Town Hall where the couple were getting married. The ceremony was conducted in one of the Town halls beautiful rooms. after, we all made our way through town towards The Head Of The River pub to catch boats to the Perch. The guests hopped onto two larger craft, Whilst I accompanied Anna and Dom along with their parents in a small boat. We made our way along the Thames through Osney and Port Meadow, where Anna even got to drive the boat we were traveling on. We arrived at The Perch’s jetty where all the guests were waiting, Anna and Dom were then showered with confetti as they made their way towards the pub.  After some canapés, speeches and a fantastic meal, I got to photograph some of the best dance action of 2017 and I even caught myself having a little boogie. I Love my job and Anna & Dom’s wedding really helped to cement my career choice.

It really was a great day.

“We were super happy with our wedding photos and pre-wedding shoot! Lee and his colleague were incredibly professional and not intrusive at all, despite the tricky logistics of our day. Would definitely recommend to future couples! Many thanks”
