I’m a female documentary wedding photographer with a naturally creative and relaxed photography style. I’m based in Sussex and cover the whole of the South East, London and beyond.
Being a good photographer is more than just having a good camera and photographing the obvious. For me, it’s all about connections. Connecting with what’s going on around me, and most importantly connecting with people, moments and emotions.
I’m a great observer and always have my creative eye open for special moments on a wedding day, as it’s the smaller, often more intimate and emotional things that make up the day. That’s the essence of my photography style, really tuning in so I can capture those moments of love, laughter, happiness and everything in between as discreetly as possible throughout the day.
Whilst I’m discreet, I don’t shoot from the sidelines. I get stuck in shooting weddings from the inside out and I’m often found right in the middle of the action, blending in and capturing moments that are real, full of emotion and meaning. I’m always friendly and chat to your guests as that helps me to integrate into your wedding party so I can happily shoot away without people feeling awkward. I don’t just follow the bride and groom around all day but try to capture lots of things happening all around, things that a bride & groom will often miss on the day.
I’ll document those natural un-posed photos of you and your guests to tell a visual story of your day, and there’s no need to pose or even look at the camera. I don’t set things up but work around whatever’s happening so you can relax and enjoy your day. I’ll do a handful of family photos and spend a little time with you both to get some beautiful photos of just the two of you.
Wherever you’ve chosen to celebrate will feature in your images. I document the day from my unique creative perspective to create a beautiful wedding story that expresses the day as you remember it for years to come.
