If I had to describe my work in one word, it would have to be “natural”.
I set out to capture your day as a story that not only documents what happened and who was there, but shows how you felt on the day.
Of course you’ll know I’m there, but I think the best way to tell your story is to catch those moments when you don’t realise I’m photographing you, and to capture your guests when they don’t know they are being photographed.
I like to think my storytelling is creative and has energy and emotion.
I fit into weddings well, moving amongst your guests photographing all those moments that will tell it how it was on your day.
Although I mostly work in the background at weddings, I do like to do a few group shots and some portraits of you as a couple. I make this time fun and relaxed by having you do what you would do naturally together, I want you to see something uniquely of yourselves in those shots.
I arrive without any preconceived ideas of what I will shoot and instead look to capture, through framing, light and timing what made your wedding different, because, every wedding is different if photographed well. Documenting your day is important of course, but great wedding photography is about catching the moments that made your particular wedding day special.
I live in Sussex and cover the South East of England, as well as London. I also shoot a few weddings each year abroad, mostly in Italy.
